The Bill (Reg. No.1036) defines legal and organizational principles of energy audit conduct. It aims at "enhanced efficiency of energy resource use by economic entities regardless of the form of ownership and types of activity". The Bill also aims at establishment and operation of integrated energy audit system in Ukraine.
Pursuant to the Bill, a certificate of energy audit conduct is to be issued by a specially authorized central executive body in charge of energy saving that registers energy auditors and legal entities, authorized to conduct energy audit. The certificate is valid for three years.
